Which sizes of FMS dilators are right for me?

Question from Sandra L.: I'm interested in your FMS dilators and I’m hoping you can help me choose the right size to order. At the moment, I’ve been trying my luck with standard dilators and have reached size 28/30 mm. But now I can’t seem to progress any further. My gynaecologist gave me a dilator with a diameter of 37 mm, but that one definitely doesn’t work for me (yet).
I’ve now come across your products and would really like to give them a try. Which size would you recommend I start with – 30 mm or 32 mm? And how many sizes should I continue with after that?
A bit about me: I’m 52, athletic, 174 cm tall. I don’t currently have a partner and I’m not very sexually active at the moment.

Answer:  Every woman – every person – is different, so there’s no fixed rule for choosing the right sizes. Unfortunately, you haven’t mentioned what the underlying issue is – whether it’s purely physical or also psychological. That would make a big difference.
In general, though: since our FMS dilators glide much more easily than standard ones – thanks to their smoother surface and ergonomic shape – we would recommend starting with the D32. If you prefer a gentler approach, go for a dilator set – for example, 30 – 32 – 34 – 36 mm, or with slightly bigger steps, continuing up to (and possibly beyond) 40 mm, depending on your situation and your goals.
From three sizes upwards, we offer a discount – and this way you’ll be on the safe side, whatever your path may look like.
