I am interested in people - regardless of what they represent on the outside. I want to look behind them and understand them. How does this person function, on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. For me, health means that these aspects are in balance, not in every single moment, but "bottom line", i.e. in sum. What has made them who they are today, and where do they want to go, what are their longings, and how can they get there.
And since there is magic in every beginning, my first job was that of a midwife . Shaping birth (and pregnancy)... As a midwife, you need knowledge and skills, empathy, a connection to the invisible, an understanding of systems and dynamics, especially in home births. At the same time, the options for how and where a child is born are highly regulated. The question was always: how can I support the expectant mother in finding out what she wants and then putting it into practice. This job taught me that we always have a choice and always bear responsibility.
At the same time, I underwent therapy and received therapy out of personal interest and concern, and I continued to train myself in a variety of ways. Psychotherapeutic tools increasingly became my focus.
Today I feel like a midwife for personal development . From my own experience I know how much change and added value is possible through perseverance and the courage to face your inner self and your own story.
My biography also helps me a lot: the life experience as a single mother of twins, wife and grandmother, also in a patchwork constellation – life has everything in store.
In addition, I founded a company with my husband. We develop, manufacture and sell medical products for more health and happiness in our pelvic area - our foundation.
My motto is to be on the move throughout my life, which implies learning, change, curiosity, openness. And joy!
For me, my spiritual attitude is the core of my life. It also determines my actions and how I approach the tasks that face me. It is important to me to look beyond the physical and psychological concerns of my clients and to offer them support on all levels if possible. The body, soul and spirit of the individual are in constant connection with everyone and everything else. This is no longer "esoteric" thinking, but has been scientifically proven by quantum physics. Our thoughts shape our reality and the decisive factor is the recognition and acceptance of personal responsibility for one's own life.
I have been practicing yoga and meditation for over 40 years . For over 30 years I have been intensively involved with awareness, self-exploration and inner growth, tantra, sexual equality, breathing training, etc. Important parts of this were the Quadrinity process and a 4-week stay at the Dahlke Healing Center to get to know, analyze and transform behavioral patterns and archetypes within me.
I have been living in a lively partnership with my husband Theo Pötter for 12 years. In 2014 we founded our company Theros . Here we produce and sell therapeutic products that we have developed ourselves.
