For first-time use, Viball® should be inserted using the enclosed application sheath as a precaution. If there are physical conditions that may make removal more difficult – for example scarring or tissue hardening after surgery – removal can be assisted by gently pulling on the sleeve. Psychological factors, a tendency to cramping, as well as nervousness or haste may also contribute to such difficulties. Otherwise, problems with removal are very rare and occur mainly when using smaller models vaginally. Larger models or pairs of Viball® can be grasped more easily by the muscles. In rectal use, difficulties are extremely rare and, in the most unlikely case, are usually resolved by the body's natural bowel activity.
Users who need to be able to remove a Viball® at any time and within a very short period (for example while travelling) should generally use medical application sleeves. The lubricated version contains a high-quality lubricant in the appropriate amount, making it unnecessary to carry additional lubricant.
The medical application sleeves are individually sealed and supplied in heat-sealed transparent bags containing either 20 or 50 sleeves.
