Question from Sandra L.: I am interested in your FMS dilators and hope you can help me with the size to order. At the moment I am trying my luck with conventional dilators and have reached size 28/30 mm. But now unfortunately I can't go any further... My gynecologist recommended a dilator with a diameter of 37 mm, but that definitely doesn't work (yet).
Now I've come across your products and would like to try them. What size would you recommend? Should I start with 30 mm or 32 mm? And which (and how many) sizes should I continue with?
Here is some information about me: I am 52 years old, athletic, 174 cm tall. I don't have a partner at the moment and I'm not very sexually active (at the moment).
Answer: Every woman, every person is different, so it is impossible to set a fixed rule for choosing the right size. Unfortunately, you have not said anything about your problem; whether it is purely physical or also psychological is an important criterion here. But in general: Since our FMS dilators slide much better than conventional dilators due to their smoother surface and shape, I would recommend the D32 as a starting size. If you want to go more gently, take a dilator set, e.g. 30 - 32 - 34 - 36 mm or in larger increments up to (over) 40 mm, depending on the background and purpose of your application. There is a 10% discount for 4 sizes or more, so you are on the safe side in any case.
